Our first-ever Glamour Disaster party brought to you by the NYC-DSA Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Working Group.

Our
holiday gathering embraces the theatrical excess, irreverence, and
communal warmth that define the radical spirit of the queer and trans
movements of the past, present, and future. We invite guests to
experiment with looks that merge couture aspirations with endearing
chaos, capturing the energy of a runway wrong turn and the charm of a
lovingly disheveled ensemble. Think of it as a messy, contemporary
reinterpretation of the classic ugly-sweater tradition, re-imagined
through the lens of style, camp, and defiance.

The
evening will take place on December 21, 2025, at SILO Brooklyn, 90
Scott Ave, Brooklyn (L Train Jefferson subway stop) with doors opening
at 7 p.m. and festivities continuing until 2 a.m. Attendees must be 21+.
This party aims to provide an affirming space for connection,
expression, and collective release at the close of the year.

Guests
are encouraged to arrive dressed in attire that reflects the theme’s
playful contradiction, whether that takes the form of glamorous failure,
fashion-forward chaos, an artfully effortless interpretation of both,
or just what you want to wear and feel free to wear.
