CAUSE: Many New Yorkers cannot afford a lawyer for housing court. Having one massively increases their chances of not being evicted. The money raised will aid in providing them counsel when they're faced with eviction, refusal of services, or other injustices driven by gentrification and predatory practices, via NYLAG’s Tenant's Rights' Unit. Their goal is to preserve safe and affordable housing for vulnerable residents, prevent homelessness, ensure economic security for families, and promote stability in our communities. They also work to educate community members about their housing rights and provide information on the options available for preserving their homes.

Organizer: NOV10 is a Brooklyn-based community action group empowering its members with the connection, knowledge, and tools to advocate together for a progressive vision for a just nation locally and nationally.

CAN'T AFFORD A TICKET? We welcome people of all means to our party. Email us for more info on ticket cost assistance.
