Ahead of the 2019 Women's March on NYC, join us January 17 at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue for an interactive and empowering teach-in in partnership with Zioness and Women's March Alliance to learn how you can be proudly Zionist and still get involved in progressive activism. This event was brought to the attention of the synagogue and created through the efforts of the Anti-Semitism Task Force and the Domestic Civil Liberties Task Force.
Through this session, we are looking forward to discussing how Jewish communities can feel comfortable participating in showing up and speaking out against injustice and anti-Semitism in certain activist spaces.
Joining us will be:
Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., Lead Sponsor, Equal Rights Amendment
Katherine Siemionko, Founder, Women’s March Alliance
Rabbi Robyn Fryer Bodzin, National Co-Chair of Rabbis Against Gun Violence, Rabbis Without Borders Fellow
