Join us on Saturday, July 12th with workers from the Trevor Project and members of CWA 1180 Communications Workers of America to fight for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and to protect specialized resources for our LGBTQ+ youth. On the same day that the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Tennessee's gender affirming care ban, the Trump administration announced that it would be dismantling the 988 “Option 3” crisis hotline. We are demanding that services for the LGBTQ+ Suicide Hotline resume and that all crisis workers affected keep their jobs. We will be meeting at 12:30 PM on 58th St., between 5th Ave. and Grand Army Place, in front of Pulitzer Plaza, before the rally.
