Rapid Response Priority Organizing Project Forum

Since Trump’s second term began, multiracial, Democrat-led cities have come under siege from federal officers and armed forces raiding and terrorizing local populations. As the largest “blue” city in the United States, we anticipate New York City to also face militarized abductions and raids in communities where immigrants predominate, especially those with majorities of Latino, Black, Asian, and Middle Eastern residents.

To respond to this moment, we propose a NYC-DSA IJWG Rapid Response Priority Organizing Project, both to provide DSA members a pipeline into active resistance work, and to stand with our new Mayoral administration and our neighbors against the ongoing onslaught on our rights.
