Calling all NYC-DSA onboarders! More new members are joining and more
than ever we need your help welcoming new folks to the organization.
The
onboarder hours are a zoom call where trained onboarders can hop on,
swap notes about what's been working and what hasn't been working, get
questions answered by our onboarding coordinators, hype each other up a
bit, and then all do some outreach together. Since so much of onboarding
is between the new members and our onboarders, it's nice to connect
with others doing the same work and get reminded that we're all in this
together. Plus it's a great excuse to do some outreach if you've been
struggling to find the time.
If you haven't yet been trained as an onboarder we have an upcoming training so you can join in on the fun.
