Queens Tenant Organizing Training & Social

Are you a tenant dealing with unmet building repairs, landlord harassment, retaliatory evictions? Organizing with your neighbors is often the most effective course of action! Join us for a two hour training session followed by a social (with snacks, beverages) hosted by the NYC-DSA Tenant Organizing Working Group and Queens Tenant Coalition. We will cover the process-based aspects of forming a Tenants Association with your neighbors. This training session is also useful for members of existing Tenants Associations who are seeking support with running meetings, collective demand-setting and developing escalation plans!
