NYC-DSA Immigrant Justice has joined with hundreds of New Yorkers calling on Hudson River Park to immediately cancel its parking contract with ICE.

Just before our action with Chelsea Neighbors United last Tuesday, the park finally admitted that they don’t plan to cancel ICE’s contract, saying they have “already taken action on this issue by committing to not renew the contract” in July.

Clearly, the Hudson River Park board isn’t listening to the voices of New Yorkers who love our parks, and believe they should not be profiting nearly $800,000 from our racist immigration system in the last four years alone.

We will not back down. Every person in Hudson River Park leadership, board members, and associated businesses are responsible for Hudson River Park’s refusal to take the side of New Yorkers over ICE.

Join us for a phone zap from 10am-12pm on Wednesday March 25–the day before the Hudson River Park board meeting–to make sure our voices are heard loud and clear!

RSVP now to receive the phone zap details shortly before the phone zap begins.
