To commemorate Yom HaShoah in 2026, The Claims Conference and the Museum of Jewish Heritage–A Living Memorial to the Holocaust have launched a new global film series, “Strength of Courage.
As part of this series, Resistance: They Fought Back will be screened at The Museum of the Moving Image in Queens. The evening will include a reception and screening, followed by a panel discussion with co-director Paula S. Apsell, scholar Michael Berenbaum and Steven Meed, son of resistance fighter Vladka Meed, moderated by Neil Rosen.
