Tenant Circle: Building Rapid Response & Immigrant Defense

The Immigrant Justice Working Group (IJWG) and Tenant Organizing Working Group (TOWG) invite you to a collaborative tenant circle focused on preparing our buildings and neighbors for rapid response to I.C.E.

As part of a broader effort to strengthen community defense and expand Know Your Rights infrastructure across NYC, this space is designed to connect tenants who want to take concrete steps to protect their buildings and support immigrant neighbors.

This tenant circle is open to anyone who:

  Has attended an ICE Rapid Response or Know Your Rights training
  


• 
  Is interested in bringing a training to their building or tenant association
  


• 
  Has questions about organizing their building with rapid response in mind
  

Together, we’ll discuss how to:

• 
  Build building-level preparedness and communication systems
  


• 
  Identify practical, legal ways to protect our neighbors from ICE activity
  


• 
  Connect with broader rapid response networks and resources
  


• 
  Strengthen solidarity with our neighbors
