From May to June, the NYC Rent Guidelines Board (RGB) will be voting on next year’s rent increases for NYC's more than 1 million rent-stabilized apartments: home to more than 2.5 million tenants. Thousands of us spent the last year talking to working class New Yorkers about the affordability agenda and now is our moment to deliver on the promises we made at the doors as we kick off the NYC-DSA Freeze the Rent Campaign!
On Sunday, May 3rd, at 8 pm, join NYC-DSA, NYS Tenant Bloc, and special guest speakers to learn more about what exactly the RGB is, how it works, how you can organize your building for a Rent Freeze, and more details about our upcoming fight and how you can get involved.
