Break the Chain (NYC-DSA's chapterwide campaign organizing for a citywide arms embargo) will be conducting a virtual flyering training on how to best speak with JFK workers and the broader public about weapons transports through our city's airport. This is a worker safety issue, as well as one that maintains NYC's complicity within the ongoing war crimes and genocide within the Middle East. We'll discuss how to best grab the attention of workers and passengers while flyering at JFK as well as key follow-up questions to ask that can lead to fruitful organizing conversations.
There are weapons, military equipment, and dangerous explosives being exported to Israel out of JFK airport and Port Elizabeth in New Jersey. These materials are directly being used to execute the Palestinian genocide, and we need to tell the Port Authority of NY/ NJ that its facilitation of these exports is unacceptable.
