This Night School session is the second of two about the book Family
Abolition by M. E. O'Brien. Quoting from the book description, "For some
of us, the family is a source of love and support. But for many
others, the family is a place of private horror, coercion and personal
domination. In capitalist society, the private family carries the
impossible demands of interpersonal care and social reproductive labor.
Can we imagine a different future?"
In this session, we will be joined by the author for a discussion
about the book in its entirety, focusing on Part 3 about the future of
the family and alternative care structures.

whether you have done all, some, or none of the required reading. We will be gathering for informal pool time from 7-7:30, followed by a poolside session from 7:30-9:00.
