The NYC-DSA Flatbush Branch is partnering with Assemblymember Phara Souffrant Forest’s office to do some community organizing! We’re calling on volunteers to canvass buildings in the very north side of our branch’s area, which is part of Assembly District 57. The goal of this project is to bring new people into the movement and to help neighbors address their issues and problems. One of Phara’s long-term projects as an Assemblyperson has been pulling back the veil of official politics and building working people’s political agency. This dovetails perfectly with our branch’s commitment to organizing working people to build a socialist future.
No experience required. We will hold a canvassing training at the beginning of the shift. See you there!
