Join DSA’s House the Future campaign to learn how New York’s housing system is currently financed, how the social housing model is different, and why that matters for how we envision the future of housing in New York State. This session will be an interactive discussion of the basic principles of housing finance, including the differences between our current affordable housing model and the social housing model that we’re fighting for. Whether you’re curious how affordable homes get built today or you want to learn what you can do to fix our broken housing system, we want to hear your ideas and experiences.
