It's time for spring cleaning! Join the Freshkills Park Alliance and NYC Parks for a wetland clean up at Freshkills Park. Following the clean up volunteers will have the opportunity to Kayak along Freshkills Park's waterways! This two mile round-trip paddle is a chance to explore the creeks and shorelines of Freshkills Park and experience the wildlife while the site is closed to the public.
Your ticket admits 1 car. Due to ongoing construction at the Freshkills site, all participants must provide their own car that will stay on-site the whole time. Participants may not use a bicycle, taxi or ride-share service. Each ticket holder may bring up to 3 additional guests in their car. During registration you will be asked about additional participants in your car. Due to limited reservations, carpooling with friends and family is encouraged.
