Laws and regulations pertaining to labor and employment are continuing to evolve with recent updates impacting many nonprofit employers. This training will provide an overview of key labor and employment issues nonprofits face with their workforce, drawing into focus issues of particular relevance to the sector. Led by expert attorneys, the workshop will cover the legal requirements and best practices for hiring and managing employees. Attendees will learn about compliance with key federal and state laws, including anti-discrimination laws and paid leave laws. The workshop will also provide clarity around employment law questions that apply in this era of hybrid and remote work.
